Antique vermilion red wardrobe with original patina (China, circa 1900). Our antique red wardrobe is made of solid wood, and has retained its original red color, deposited on the wood many years ago. This type of wardrobe was once produced in pairs, and was part of the dowry that the woman gave in marriage to her future husband. We recovered it from an old house in central China, and it has been meticulously restored following the artisanal restoration process of the time. It has two large doors that open onto a very large space to store all kinds of clothes or accessories. You also have three practical drawers at the bottom. We particularly like the specific color of this piece of furniture, and also its solidity provided by the thickness of the solid wood… this piece of furniture will be the wardrobe that will last over time… elegant.
