Pair of IB Kofod-Larsen cabinets in rosewood, Faarup, Denmark 1960.

Magnificent pair of cabinets designed by the famous Danish designer Ib Kofod-Larsen and produced by Faarup Møbelfabrik, Denmark, in 1960. This set illustrates the refined craftsmanship and understated sophistication of modern Danish design. Each cabinet is made from richly carved rosewood and features two sliding doors with distinctive bevelled edges that enhance the wood's grain. The interior offers practical storage space, while the slender, tapered legs gracefully elevate the cabinets, giving them a light and architectural presence. Placed side by side or used independently, these versatile cabinets serve both as functional storage and sculptural accent pieces. Their warm rosewood tones and clean lines make them an ideal piece for mid-century or contemporary interiors. A beautiful example of Kofod-Larsen's ability to harmoniously combine functionality, form, and natural materials.
