Beautiful Art Deco pot with its lid, very decorative, ideal as a candy dish, sugar bowl, trinket dish or decorative object. Roger Guérin (1896-1954) was a Belgian ceramist of the Art Deco period, born in Jumet and died in Bouffioulx. He studied under Willem Delsaux and founded the cooperative company Poteries Roger Guerin in 1919. Known for his experimental salt glazing techniques and Art Deco decorations, he developed his business with his son Jules Guérin.
