Large and rare art deco sandstone vase covered with metal oxides and gold and platinum casting effects on a brown background. This elegant and refined vase is a timeless piece of decoration. Its quality and rarity also make it a collector's item. It is signed lucien brisdoux (1878-1963), who was a french ceramist recognized in the 1920s for his technique of metal oxides and gold and platinum metallescent enamelling, which give his ceramics remarkable casting effects.
