An original Art Deco upholstered tabouret designed by Jindřich Halabala in Czechoslovakia during the 1930s. Featuring Halabala’s distinctive rounded “pumpkin” silhouette with elegant carved wooden feet and decorative piping, this charming stool perfectly represents the sophisticated organic forms that made his furniture internationally recognized. Its compact proportions make it highly versatile as a footstool, vanity seat, occasional stool or decorative accent. The original upholstery displays an attractive vintage patina that enhances its authentic character and collector appeal.
