Tortoiseshell lucite magazine rack from the Christian Dior Home collection.

Magazine rack or magazine holder from the 1970s designed for the Christian Dior home collection or Maison Mercier Paris. It comes from my grandparents who bought it in a high-end store in the 70s. In either case, it is a rare piece valued at up to €800. It is in excellent condition, with minor scratches due to its age. Geometric shape. Handle. Brass-style details. Thick and sturdy material = lucite / plexiglass. Textured pattern resembling faux tortoiseshell. An elegant and timeless accessory for any modern interior or office. As you can see in the last photo, you can also repurpose this accessory from its original function and transform it into a very practical bottle holder (for wine bottles only).
