1960s Magazine rack by Giotto Stoppino for Kartell, Italy

An iconic magazine rack designed by Giotto Stoppino and produced by Kartell in Italy around 1960. Made entirely of black plastic, which is a typical choice for mid-century Italian design. It has three storage compartments on different heights at each side. Combined, this creates a nice pyramid like shape that adds a wonderful appeal to the design. The round finish of the corners are a nice finishing touch. A wonderful accessory to the interior! It remains in good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. The magazine holder has no label or mark from the designer.
