Magnificent pair of Louis XV style wardrobe doors (regional Louis XV style) in solid oak, dating from the 18th century – circa 1750. Fine cabinetmaking featuring beautiful molded reliefs, carved decoration of scrolls and leaves, and superb openwork wrought iron keyhole escutcheons. The panels are gently curved, in the pure Champagne or Norman style of the 18th century. A beautiful antique patina highlights the warm grain of the wood, with subtle signs of age that underscore their authenticity. These doors can be reattached to an antique wardrobe or reused as wall decoration, room dividers, or closet doors in a contemporary interior. The panels are decorated with shaped moldings, carved fillets, and openwork ironwork. In very good condition for their age, with beautiful signs of age and original patina. Dimensions to be confirmed.
