They stand out for their rustic elegance and their sculpted panels with asymmetrical curved shapes, typical of this era. The wood features a warm honey patina that will add a lot of character to a room. Each door has a large central panel and two sculpted crosspieces. They are sold with their original forged iron hinges (mortise fittings), which are still attached to the side of each stile. Notable are the superbly crafted and chiselled iron lock entries present on both leaves. These doors are ideal for an authentic renovation, to be mounted as kitchen cupboard doors, library doors, or to stylishly separate two spaces. Conservation Condition: These doors are antique and sold "in their juice." They are in generally good structural condition. The wood shows a beautiful patina of use, with surface marks that testify to its history and enhance its authenticity (see detailed photos). The fittings are naturally oxidised.
