Art Nouveau Barbotine Vase, Keller/Guerin Lunéville on Bronze

Exceptional display piece, very decorative on a console or sideboard. Stunning vase or plant pot from the famous Keller and Guérin manufacture in Lunéville/Saint Clément dating from the 1890 Art Nouveau period. The base bears the precious monogram KG hand-painted. The ceramic body features a magnificent relief decoration of flowers in vibrant and fresh colours. The background offers a speckled and brushed glaze with a superb brilliance, a signature of the finest Impressionist productions from Lunéville. This ensemble is enhanced by a sumptuous original gilt bronze mount. The base is of remarkable finesse, worthy of a renowned bronze artist, adorned with fantastic masks on each foot. Exceptional state of conservation, a rarity for ceramics of this era: no chips or cracks on the flowers and leaves. The bronze mount retains its old patina.
