Very elegant large oval antique plate in white porcelain with a rich golden border, Tirschenreuth manufacture, Bavaria (Germany). This plate features a refined scalloped shape, highlighted by thick raised gilding, typical of quality productions from the late 19th / early 20th century. The fineness of the porcelain and the craftsmanship of the border reflect careful workmanship, intended for a bourgeois table or for display purposes. The stamp on the reverse “Bavaria – Tirschenreuth – Germany”, identifiable in reference works, allows the piece to be dated before the First World War. This plate can be used: As a serving dish.
