Antique deep dish in white Limoges porcelain, with rockwork relief.

Large and elegant hollow dish in white Limoges porcelain, with a beautifully shaped wavy oval form and a wide relief-moulded rococo-style rim. Marked "Limoges France" under the base. Antique, from the first half of the 20th century, circa 1930-1950. Very nice moulding work all around the border, with scrolls, shells, and leafy reliefs. The whiteness of the porcelain and the entirely relief decoration give it a look that is both understated and very decorative. Maximum length 36cm, width 26cm, maximum height 4.5cm. Overall in good condition. There is a small chip under the edge at one end, very discreet and not visible from above, a few light cutlery scratches inside, as well as a small area showing a discreet limescale film. Weight 950g.
