Charming fine earthenware jug, probably from the St Uze workshops, dating from the 19th century, around 1850-1870. It has a swollen shape with an elegant side handle, decorated with floral patterns and cobalt blue clovers stamped on a cream background, cracked with age, showing a beautiful antique patina. The rim of the neck shows some wear, a testament to its use. Height 16cm, width 16cm including handle, maximum diameter 12cm. Generally in good condition with two discreet hairline cracks at the neck, a manufacturing defect or wear at the bottom of the body, which is not compromising and discreet, the neck is worn, frosted, and there are usage cracks mainly at the bottom, with a patina. Weighs approximately 700g.
