Two glazed stoneware bowls in white with an incised geometric design revealing the unglazed stoneware. Made by the ceramist Emile Masson in the 1950s when he opened his own workshop in Vallauris. He had a career at Grandjean-Jourdan as a decorator before moving to Savoie until 1995. In good condition, with a lack of glaze on the edge of one bowl and a chip, small stains, and a few hairline cracks at the bottom of both bowls (see photos). Hand signature Masson under each piece. Dimensions: top diameter 11.5 cm, bottom diameter 9 cm for one and 10 cm for the other, height 5 cm. Weight without packaging: 540 g. Sold as a set.
