Aperitif servant by Bernard Buffat

Serving dish for aperitif in three floral-patterned ceramic cups signed Bernard Buffat. Recognised as "Best Craftsman of France" in ceramics, the artist worked with René and Madeleine de Valence at the Grange aux potiers from 1961 to 1963 and from late 1964 to 1974. During this time, he produced large pieces, some of which were exhibited in 1970 at the museum of Chalon sur Saône. He later opened his own workshop.
