Lightness of form is the defining quality of model “378”: the slim top appears almost suspended above four tapered legs, joined at the back by a distinctive curved stretcher that softens the geometry of the composition. Three stacked drawers and the extending side leaf complete a design carefully considered down to its details. Designed by Eric Johansson for Abrahamssons Möbelfabrik, the model was launched in 1956, during the flourishing post-war period of Swedish design. Good condition. It may show signs of age.
