"Cocktail" Armchair 1950 – Compass Legs & Firm Spring Seat

Sell this superb "cocktail" armchair, emblematic of 1950s design. An authentic and biomorphic piece that stands out due to its superior traditional craftsmanship compared to period models. The advantages of this armchair: • Robust high-quality structure: The "compass" legs are integrated into the solid wood frame (not screwed), a sign of careful cabinetmaking ensuring perfect and lasting stability. • Exceptional and durable comfort: The seat features original steel spring suspension (No-Sag type). It has remained perfectly firm and supportive, offering far better support than modern foam seats that sag. • Streamlined design: Sculpted blond wood armrests and a dynamic line, typical of Mid-Century modernist aesthetics. Condition: The armchair is presented in a beautiful "as is" condition, reflecting its authenticity.
