Mid-century Armchair Type 300-110 by GFM, Poland, 1960s

Armchair type 300-110, manufactured at the Gościcińska Furniture Factory, Poland in the 1960s. This is a rare model, also produced in a version with removable armrests and convertible into a modular sofa. It has been reupholstered in yellow fabric, with refined piping along the edge that emphasises the shape of the seat. The turned legs and armrests are made of solid beech wood. Few models, like the 300-110, represent the essence of 1960s style. Notable are the balanced proportions, a massive comfortable seat set on slender, downward-tapering legs. Upholstery fabric can be changed on request.
