Hand-carved wooden desk in neo-renaissance style Henri II around 1870

Important oak office in neo-renaissance style of the second half of the nineteenth century. The lower part, alternated with twisted columns reminiscent of the louis XIII style, is entirely carved by hand and has three drawers on each box and three belt drawers. The top is covered with a red imitation leather. The upper part, composed of four drawers and two mailboxes, is surmounted by an openwork pediment, carved with leafy motifs. The back of the desk is entirely decorated with bas-relief sculptures. Henry II style. France.
