Art Deco pedestal table

This small solid wood pedestal table, but very light, almost airy, has already had several lives and I hope for him that he will find a new one. In an art deco style but with a small remnant of art nouveau, it probably dates from the first half of the 20th century. When I hunted it, it was covered with a hideous whitish paint that was peeling, so I thought "wow it will be easy and nice to find the wood underneath! ". But, as often, antique furniture has surprises in store! If the paint went easily in some places, it was impossible for me to remove it everywhere (without using chemical stripper, because I do not want to use it anymore). In addition, under the paint, some defects appeared. I propose it to you thus, after several hours of work on it, but not yet ready for a new life, for a revisit to your liking. But in a while, if he has not found a buyer in the state, he will go back to my workshop for a revisit to my liking; ) its condition: if it is still solid despite its finesse and lightness, it does not hide its age and the traces of its multiple lives: there remains white paint embedded in the veining, or in small defects of the wood. The white paint is still present on the underside, wherever it is not seen when it is laid. The trays have various spots and markings. I filled a few holes and defects on the whole furniture with wood pulp, but there are still marks, small indentations, abrasions, small gaps... The round board below is not quite centered compared to the top one, perhaps it has been disassembled and poorly reassembled, or simply the woods have played a little over time. It is 59 cm high, the high top has a diameter of 44.5 cm. The low tray has a diameter of 24 cm. It weighs about 2.9 kg.
