The "André" table, square in shape, designed by Tobia Scarpa, in its precious Gavina edition, produced only between 1967 and 1968, just before the brand was acquired by Knoll. A very short period that makes this model particularly sought after in the vintage design market. Its cast aluminium structure, four cylindrical legs, and smoked glass top give it a distinctly architectural look, typical of Italian design from the late 1960s, with a pronounced seventies touch. A sculptural and elegant piece, it stands out as a strong focal point in a living room or contemporary space. This model has become difficult to find, and this Gavina edition offers a rare presence and great decorative value. Label not included. Note: the "André 2" coffee table (Knoll edition) is also available to create a harmonious set. About Tobia Scarpa: A major designer in the Italian scene, Tobia Scarpa is recognised for the architectural precision of his creations, the balance of his proportions, and his remarkable work with materials. His collaboration with Gavina — later integrated into the Knoll catalogue — gave birth to some of the most iconic pieces of Italian design from the late 1960s. Scarpa's creations remain highly sought after today for their quality, modernity, and strong value in the vintage market.
