GLASS & BRASS coffee table by Peter Ghyczy, 1970s

Minimalist coffee table with a thick glass top and cast brass legs, designed by Peter Ghyczy, 1970. The legs slide over the corners of the glass top and are clamped in place using plastic screws. Minimal use of materials with an appearance that combines the Regency style with Brutalist influences (solid brass legs). Peter Ghyczy (1940-2022) was a German designer, born in Hungary and living in the Netherlands. He is known, among other things, for “das Gartenei” from 1968. Condition: good to very good condition. Minimal signs of use on the glass top. The legs can be polished to your liking. Dimensions: width 70 cm, depth 70 cm, height 45.5 cm.
