Iconic original 'LC4' chaise longue by Cassina in the sought-after all black version with black leather upholstery and black lacquered steel frame. One of the most influential and recognisable lounge designs of the 20th century, originally conceived in 1928 by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand. This particular example was acquired during the 1990s and features the elegant monochrome appearance that gives the LC4 an especially architectural and sculptural presence. The organically curved reclining form was designed around the natural shape of the human body, combining radical modernist aesthetics with exceptional comfort.
