Provençal oak kneading trough

A typical piece of furniture from early 20th-century Provençal interiors. Originally used for kneading bread, this piece has been transformed into a storage unit/console with an opening at the front and a lock. Good overall condition, some woodworm infestation present (treated). Numerous carved details, Provençal motifs: musical instruments, basins, and floral scrolls.
