Two cups and saucers in fine earthenware villeroy & boch mettlach, model 1562 old strasbourg / alt strassburg. Stamped (green stamp) "villeroy & boch / mettlach / made in france-saar economic union / 1562". Villeroy & boch re-edited this model in the 1980s; these are cups and saucers from the original series produced in the 1950s. Floral decoration printed on ivory background, empire green lines. Very shiny enamel and bright colors. Dimensions: cup / diam. 9 cm, h 4.75 cm; saucer / diam. 14 cm. Packed in bubble wrap and polystyrene packing particles.
