Magnificent collector's dessert plate made of porcelain from the famous Henri Delcourt (H.D.) factory, located in Boulogne-sur-Mer. An iconic model from the Art Deco period (circa 1920-1930), showcasing the craftsmanship of ceramics and earthenware from Northern France. This piece stands out with its superb Japonaiserie and graphic decor: a central medallion featuring a duo of stylised parakeets/birds in vibrant green, perched against a contrasting red-orange background, all highlighted by an elegant fluid green border. (Detail of the hand-painted parakeets) The back of the plate bears the authentic stamp of the factory with a green marine anchor, marked "H.D. Made in France." (not present on all) Perfect for enriching a collection of antique tableware, to enhance a festive table, or to be showcased as wall decoration in a retro, bohemian, or mix-and-match interior. In good condition for their great age. Some legitimate signs of wear, see photos. Very fast and careful shipping.
