1960s sea foam ceramic vase

Superb vintage ceramic vase, dating from the 1960s/70s. Slender in shape with a cylindrical neck and rounded body, it has a remarkable “Meerschaum” decoration, characterized by a thick, textured glaze in shades of cobalt blue, anthracite gray and white touches. This highly decorative finish captures the light beautifully and gives the vase a look that is both raw and refined. • Period: circa 1960–1970 • Material: wheel-thrown ceramic, “meerschaum” textured glaze • Dimensions: height 32 cm, body diameter 19 cm • Condition: very good general condition, no cracks or chips; natural irregularities related to craftsmanship.
