Eero Saarinen is an American designer of Finnish origin. He designed numerous successful pieces of furniture for Knoll and is one of the most prolific designers of the 20th century. He is particularly known for delivering unique, yet always accurate and original, proposals for each design or architectural project. He is particularly well-known to the general public for designing the tulip chair and the tulip table, a best-selling piece of 1950s furniture design.
