This Componibili with two modules is an exceptional piece. Not the commonly found Componibili, but one of the very first editions produced by Kartell as early as 1967, identifiable by its original paper label still present under the base, at a time when the marking was not yet moulded into the plastic. A detail that makes all the difference for collectors. This is the square version without a door, the first variation of the model, with its two open stacked modules on wheels. This original open version, without doors, is no longer produced, making it an item that is hard to find in this condition and configuration. Anna Castelli Ferrieri, a Milanese architect and designer, created with the Componibili one of the most important pieces in the history of plastic design. Exhibited at MoMA in New York and the Centre Pompidou in Paris, this modular furniture is among the most influential designs of the 20th century. Brand: Kartell. Designer: Anna Castelli Ferrieri. Model: Componibili. Date: 1967. Place of production: Italy 🇮🇹 Colour: Black. Materials: ABS Plastic. Dimensions: 38 X 38 X H 49.5 cm. A collector's piece in its oldest, rarest, and most authentic version. In good vintage condition, with some signs of wear due to age. No cracks.
