The circular top is decorated with geometric marquetry in light and dark wood veneers, forming a radiating design, highlighted by a marquetry peripheral band. The shaft and the apron are richly adorned with gilded decorative bronzes featuring allegorical figures and classical motifs, giving the whole piece a pronounced decorative character.
