Top: Walnut veneer with a centred round burlwood inlay and a fine ebony edging. Subtle rounded top edge and shallow apron emphasising the veneer figure. Base: Tripod support with three slender, ebonized curved square-tapered legs. Arched three-armed stretcher converging to a small turned central finial. Storage: One drawer featuring a maple wood interior and a fold-out pincushion. Intermediate tableau on the underside with visible traces of a former sewing basket.
