Edwardian revolving bookcase in hardwood with Sheraton inlay.

We are delighted to offer for sale this splendid rotating bookcase made of hardwood from around 1900, featuring Sheraton inlay on the top. An exceptionally well-crafted and highly decorative bookcase or desk table. It is a very versatile piece of furniture that would fit wonderfully into any environment. This is one of the few examples I have ever seen in rosewood. We have cleaned, waxed, and polished the piece; it shows some normal patina marks related to age and use, nothing unexpected for a bookcase over 120 years old. Note that vintage and original period pieces, such as leather seating, will always have a natural patina in the form of creases and wear. We recommend annual waxing to prevent moisture loss. Additionally, hand-dyed leather is not recommended for prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, as it can dry out and discolour.
