A fine example of the decorative tableware in vogue between 1880 and 1900, in the spirit of the productions of Sarreguemines, Lunéville or Choisy-le-Roi. The barbotine work allows for a striking volume effect, each motif being hand-colored underglaze, which makes each plate unique. Very discreet hollow marking on the back without stamp. Diameter 21 cm. Good vintage condition, small discreet enamel chips and patina of use consistent with age. As usual, the underside of the plate is representative of the artisanal work of barbotine. Perfect as a wall piece or in accumulation with other barbotines. I also have in my shop a similar model with large pink and purple flowers.
