Pair of Consulate-style armchairs in mahogany, with a slightly reclined rectangular flat backrest and scrolled armrests on baluster consoles. The front legs are tapered, and the rear legs are saber-shaped, a characteristic line from the turn of the 1800s. The salmon-hued fabric upholstery is secured with a row of golden nails. The mahogany shows wear and small cracks; the upholstery is clean, with signs of use on the armrests. The two armchairs are identical.
