Handwoven wool rollakan rug design 'Wadden' reversible

A Röllakan is a handwoven carpet with a cotton warp and a wool weft. Röllakans usually have geometric and traditional patterns. These rugs are known for their flat and dense weave, making them ideal for high-traffic areas. Röllakans are double-sided, which extends their lifespan. In the past, people would save one side of the carpet for special occasions and use the other side for daily use. Röllakans are easy to maintain because wool is naturally dirt-repellent. In addition, wool has the pleasant property of being heat-insulating. Wonderfully comfortable. A Röllakan is a completely handmade product that cannot be industrially manufactured. The design of this new rollakan 'Wadden' is (how could it be otherwise) inspired by the Dutch Wadden Islands! The colours used in the rug are the colours of the beach, the sea, the dunes and the beautiful pink sky in the evenings. This is a new handmade product!
