Great framework from the 17th century, the farrier's workshop

Great size and impact painting adorned with a non-coeval frame, from the 19th century, sculpted and gilded. Painting of pleasant perspective and good dynamism expertly painted with an excellent use of light. The animals are of great quality and the farrier in the foreground, painted in the dim light, in the act of fixing the shoes to a horse with his assistant. Painting that has undergone a conservative restoration, relining, replacement of the frame and color recovery in some points (see photo). In good condition. Sight size h 114 X w 137 cm.
