Iconic Multichair designed by Joe Colombo in 1970. Originally it was produced by Sormani, but only for a few years, which make these early editions very rare. This particular chair is produced by B-Line Italy, who reissued the chair in 2004. The chair is a versatile, transformable seating system made of two upholstered elements connected by leather belts and buckles that allow for various configurations, functioning as a chair, armchair, daybed, or pouf. This ingenious design reflects the innovative and pioneering vision of one of the greatest designers of the 20th century. The Multichair is a true design icon and is featured in the permanent collections of the MoMA and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The chair is in very good original condition. Just some traces of use on the leather belts. Futhermore excellent.
