Vintage mahogany avocado bookcase with overhead glass doors circa 40's/50's

Bookcase craft furniture or vintage mahogany storage with glass doors around the 40s/50s. This library is also known as the "barrister" or "lawyer" library. Designed in a wardrobe style, the glass doors keep books clean, tidy, but also transform the bookcase into a perfect display for photographs or decorative objects that one wishes to display in one's home. It is made of wood, with mahogany veneer and a varnished finish. The upper and central compartments have a sliding and tilting glass door. They are both fully functional and have their original brass buttons. At the base, there is an additional drawer, clean and fully functional as well. The library is in good general condition, original and vintage, with some old marks and signs of age and previous use proportioned to time, on the general structure, the top, the façade, the panels and the interior of the compartments (see photos), as well as patina of time and slightly faded colors, as one would expect for an object of this age, but the library is in very good use. There are no cracks or splinters on the glass doors. The piece has been completely cleaned, oiled, waxed and polished respecting its original patina of time. The piece being sectional, it is composed of 3 separate units stacked on top of each other, without nails, fasteners or glues (see photos.) the beauty of this modular system is that you can purchase additional sections as you need. The library grows, which can be added to your existing library. The part will be disassembled into 3 parts/units for shipping purposes. The bookcase has its md bookcase manufacturer mark on the back.
