Modern mid-century writing desk Cartier Paris bronze leather

We are pleased to offer for sale one of the two original Mid Century Modern writing desks signed Cartier Paris, dating from the 1960s-1970s. Very rare and highly sought after, these desks are made of solid bronze with a chocolate brown leather top. Each desk features a central medium drawer signed Cartier, as well as the Cartier signature on the back. The style is symmetrical, allowing for an identical view from both sides. The bronze has a beautiful aged patina, and the leather has been carefully cleaned, waxed, and polished. Dimensions: height 75 cm, width 110 cm, depth 56 cm, knee height 66 cm. These exceptional pieces fit into any decor and add a couture touch. The condition is good with wear consistent with age, including slight lightening. The original leather shows natural patina with characteristic cracks and creases of vintage furniture.
