Marcel Breuer's B32 chair

An iconic piece of the Bauhaus spirit by designer Marcel Breuer! In 1928, he created a revolutionary chair named Cesca, the diminutive of his daughter Francesca's first name. The first cantilevered chair. Functional, simple and resolutely modern. Structure in chrome steel tubes. Sitting in beech and canne back in real braided wicker. Its wide seat gives it exceptional comfort. Made in Italy most certainly by Gavina (Gravé in the wood "Made in Italy"). Year Very good condition. The tubular structure has no stings on the chrome. The canning is in very good condition (no breaking wicker links under the seat) and has kept its beautiful original color. The canning of the seat is slightly curved downwards (so cheaper price).
