Set of six Bauche n°19 lounge chairs, designed by Charlotte Perriand and produced by Steph Simon in the 1950s. This model illustrates Perriand's attention to natural materials and essential forms, in a quest for balance between modernity and traditional craftsmanship. Made of solid ash, they feature four round legs connected by stretchers and have a seat and backrest made of woven straw. Edition: Steph Simon, circa 1950.
