Magnificent complete tea/coffee service from the prestigious English manufacturer Wedgwood, dating from the period 1891-1910. This model (reference Y1434) is a rare collector's piece due to its vibrant coral orange colour, less common than the brand's traditional blues. The Neo-classical/Regency style decoration features elegant friezes of acanthus leaves and laurels, medallions, and fruit baskets, all on fine porcelain (Bone China) with a fluted relief. The finishes, handles, and borders are generously enhanced with fine gold gilding. Composition of the service (27 pieces): 1 Teapot/Coffee pot (with lid) 1 Covered sugar bowl. 1 Milk jug/Creamer. 12 Cups. 12 Matching saucers. Condition: The set is in very good aesthetic condition for its age (over a century). The colours remain vibrant and the porcelain is translucent. Note: One saucer has an old tea or coffee stain in the centre (see dedicated photo). A few light signs of use on the gilding of the handles, confirming its authenticity. No major chips or cracks on the main pieces. Technical characteristics: Brand: Wedgwood (Stamp of the "Portland Vase" in blue) Model: Y1434 - Laurel & Acanthus. Material: Fine porcelain (Bone China) Colour: Coral Orange/Gold. Style: Napoléon III/Regency/English. Period: Late 19th - Early 20th century. Careful shipping.
