Antique writing table in solid walnut, 19th century. Charming antique writing table in solid walnut dating from the late 19th century. It is distinguished by its elegant turned legs and curved central stretcher. Legs typical of the Renaissance/Baroque style. The simple rectangular top and central drawer make it both a decorative and functional piece: ideal as a small desk, console table, or side table. Period: circa 1870–1890. Wood: walnut. One drawer in the front. Turned legs connected by an arched stretcher. Original patina, signs of age, and old cracks (see photos) that give it all its charm. Condition: Good overall condition for its age. Some marks and cracks due to age, without affecting stability. The joints have developed a little play. Ideal for: Adding character to a classic or country chic interior. Serving as a small desk, console table, or coffee table.
