Set of 15 Scandinavian candle holders in brass and glass, Gunnar Ander, Ystad Met

Set of 15 candlesticks of varying heights, made of gilded brass with a circular base made of thick glass, designed by Gunnar Ander for the Swedish manufacturer Ystad Metall. Some candlesticks retain their original manufacturer's label. Note a rather rare 3-arm model in the lot. Gunnar Ander (1908-1976) was a prolific Swedish designer who worked closely with Ystad Metall. His work, combining metal and glass, is now represented in several museums in Sweden. This set embodies the Scandinavian style of the 1960s, understated and refined.
