Pierre Paulin (1927-2009) Model CM141. Edition Thonet 1950. This desk is the most emblematic of the French designer. The lines of this desk are minimalist, typical of post-war design. Its base consists of four legs connected by three flat crossbars, in black lacquered metal. The top, in black laminate extended with a mahogany veneer, has always been preserved by a glass top added by the previous owner, ensuring a good quality of conservation. The cabinet includes two drawers that open with a black lacquered metal handle in the shape of a U. H 73 × W 129 × D 64cm. Bibliography: C. Geel, "Pierre Paulin, Designer", Ed.
