Vintage desk in formica and metal. France, 1950s–1960s. Modernist style desk, with a structure in black lacquered metal, characteristic of post-war school and administrative furniture. Rectangular formica top with wood decor, highlighted by a black edge, providing a durable and easy-to-maintain work surface. Tubular legs with a stretcher. On the right side, a suspended laminated wood cabinet holds four stacked drawers with cylindrical wooden handles. Height: 73 cm. Width: 93 cm. Depth: 56 cm. Drawer width: 33 cm. Knee space width: 45 cm. Sound and stable structure. Signs of use and visible marks on the top, legs, and edges of the cabinet. Functional drawers. Small chips and abrasions on the edges and corners.
