Saint-Clément earthenware rooster plate with floral medallion and ribbon decoration

This lovely plate is made of saint-clément earthenware decorated with a rooster. Coming from the faïenceries de l'est, signed saint-clément, it is decorated with a superb central medallion surrounding a rooster and flowers and ribbons, hand-painted. The rim is decorated with blue and yellow ears of corn. It measures 24.5 cm in diameter. In good general condition, I note some scratches from use. On the back, there is a trace of wax which allowed the plate to be hung.
