Table rises and falls, Charlotte Perriand, Les Arcs, circa 1973

Raise and lower table from Les Arcs, France, designed by Charlotte Perriand. Conceived in the 1970s to furnish the Résidences Nova and Les Lauzières, in Les Arcs 1800, it offers a square top in solid pine glued laminated wood, and a cruciform black lacquered metal leg with a jack-operated raise and lower system that allows it to be adjusted from 53 cm to 75 cm.
