Boomerang chair attr. to Carlo De Carli, set of 2, Italy 1950s

This set of two Italian armchairs from the 1950s was most likely designed by Carlo De Carli. It is a refined example of mid-century design combining lightness with organic form. The chair size is H: 83 / W: 60 / D: 52 cm. The chairs are distinguished by their boomerang-shaped wooden side elements, which visually and structurally connect the seat with the backrest, giving the design its dynamic and iconic profile. The construction rests on a green lacquered metal base, and it's finished with brass feet. Further details include wooden armrests that add warmth and contrast to the metal structure, as well as light green upholstery. The chair's light, airy appearance will add some mid-century style to any contemporary space. Additional dimensions: Seat height 46 cm, Armrest height 69 cm. The chairs remain in original vintage condition. The brass feet are now beautifully patinated over time. The fabric is original with a very little wear.
