Ceramic shell ashtray

Charming ceramic ashtray in the shape of a shell, very decorative. The mention "made in China" on the back might suggest it is recent, but there are also pictograms, which have not appeared for decades. And for a bit of history, or rather the long history of objects copied by China, this ashtray is a replica of one made in France in the 1970s, which was sold in Spain as a souvenir. I have previously had and sold both: the one made in France in the 1970s and the one copied by China in the 1980s and 1990s. The latter was brought back by the person I bought it from as a souvenir of a school trip to Spain for their grandmother over 35 years ago! This ashtray is in perfect condition, with no cracks, chips, or even scratches. It measures 14.5 cm in length, 9 cm in width, and 6.5 cm in height.
